Job Description
Our client is a leading national welfare to work organisation, they are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their London based team.
You will be supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in the implementation and ongoing management of Subcontractors and Paid Partners. This will include acting as a central point of contact for these external parties commencing and building a professional, trusting and successful relationship contributing to a valuable Subcontractor provision.
Key to the role is an ability to manage complex and varying external business relationships, identify opportunities, address challenges and be able to balance the needs of our clientand the Subcontractor or Partner.
The Commercial Manager further drives delivery and development of frameworks for Subcontractor and Paid Partner management which are key in supporting best practice in line with continuous improvement commitment.
The role involves continuous communication and negotiation with external and internal parties, at all levels. This includes daily liaising with Department Heads, Senior Operations Managers and Directors to ensure best practice and successful provision whilst investigating new opportunities for business proposed.
You should have previous experience in a role where you have sold to and negotiated with third parties, and managed multiple contracts- an examples of a suitable roles would be an account manager or recruitment consultant. Your experience should also include some managerial / supervisory work.
You should also have a relevant degree (for instance related to business, sales, maths, science, management)
The role involves some travel to other areas of the country
