BID WRITER
THE COMPANY:
Based in Modern, first class offices in South West London and within an easy commute to Central London, this Recruitment Company has quickly developed to become one of the fastest growing, largest companies of itβs kind.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer. This is a position designed to manage an increasing volume of bid opportunities and to continue the Bid Teamβs success rate in securing new business for the company.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will undertake the following range of activities:
’ Managing bid opportunities from receipt to submission, as allocated by the Bid Manager. This will involve close liaison with the sales teams throughout the UK offices, and staff within the Legal, HR, Finance, Security, and Business Support Teams.
’ Attending client tender briefings.
’ Tracking, co-ordinating and communicating bid results.
’ Producing adhoc documents including supplier questionnaires, capability statements, flyers, and presentations, as allocated by the Bid Manager.
’ Producing updated boilerplate content and FAQ responses
’ Providing support to the Bid Manager on tender responses as requested.
Candidates should be prepared to undertake occasional UK travel to attend client tender briefings or to work from other offices within the UK.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
’ This role requires candidates to be of graduate calibre, with a degree in English or equivalent as a minimum.
’ Candidates will have a proven track record of producing high quality client proposals, ideally from within a Recruitment background or otherwise professional services sectors.
’ You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and pitch the companyβs services and USPs in a clear and persuasive manner.
’ The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results driven individual, who is able to deliver accurate, high quality work to tight timescales.
’ You will be extremely organised, with strong time management skills, and an ability to manage several tasks at once. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work is vital.
’ You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
’ You will need to be flexible in regard to hours as you may occasionally be required to work outside of core hours and to undertake travel to client briefings and other offices.
