My client, a leading holiday company, urgently requires a number of Front End Web Developers to join its eCommerce & web development team at a very exciting period of growth.
With vacancies’ for a wide range of technical levels, this household name travel giant is currently reshaping its eCommerce offering. As a result, exciting opportunities exist for Web Developers with a good grasp of designing and developing consumer-facing web interfaces, using XHTML, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX), SQL and operating systems including MS Windows, Unix (Linux or other) and Mac OSX.
Working as a highly valued Web Developer you will be responsible for carrying out analysis and design for leading travel websites, creating technical specifications and producing applications from them. In addition, this varied role will include user interface development and design, testing, documentation and continued technological innovation.
Knowledge of Java, Lucene Query Syntax, VYRE Unity platform, version control (CVS and/or Subversion), mobile application development (iPhone SDK) and design tools such as Fireworks and Flash would be advantageous.
In addition, the successful Web Developers, regardless of level, will be strong communicators and excellent team players; fast to learn new skills and self-motivated to display creativity and innovative technical thinking.
