Web Content Manager, Gatwick area, West Sussex – Commutable from East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey & London, £42,000 + Pension, Life Assurance, Income Protection, Private Medical Plan, Childcare Benefit, Interest Free Season Ticket Loan, Fantastic Travel Concessions
My client, a leading holiday company, currently seeks a Web Content Manager to join its growing eCommerce team close to Gatwick Airport.
Working closely with the eCommerce Manager, a host of other departments and stakeholders and managing one direct report, the successful Web Content Manager will be responsible for defining and delivering a clear web content strategy across an impressive portfolio of leading holiday websites. Responsibilities will include:
- Be ultimately responsible for all content across websites
- Ensure effective web CMS functionality
- Define workflows and approval processes for all content generators and stakeholders
- Work with the Customer Experience Manager to ensure that there are good page templates
- Work with Marketing and Creative Services to develop tone and copy guidelines
- Ensure that all copy is SEO compliant
- Closely coordinate activities with the Creative Services team, Product & Commercial team and with Marketing to schedule and release quality commercialised content to the websites
- Keep a watchful eye on changes to the product offering, commercial schedules and ensure the web content is consistent with what’s on sale
- Learn about and document how all company systems work together
- Define and manage a smooth content delivery process from the various systems through testing, managing the quality of delivery and sign off from the business
- Work with the wider eCommerce team to ensure website content is achieving user experience objectives and goals
