Web Designer, Gatwick area, West Sussex – Commutable from East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey & London, £34,000 plus Pension, Life Assurance, Income Protection, Private Medical Plan, Childcare Benefit, Interest Free Season Ticket Loan, Fantastic Travel Concessions
My client, a leading holiday company, currently seeks a Web Designer to join its growing eCommerce team close to Gatwick Airport.
With a proven track record of creating first class web design in a commercial environment, the successful Web Designer will be responsible for enabling the web team to improve user experience and achieve conversion and sales targets.
Working in a varied role the Web Designer will be responsible for the interaction for key user experience tasks and projects (70%), visual design for website merchandising (20%), front end web development (5%), website support & testing (5%).
To do this, the Web Designer will utilise demonstrable skill and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) and a ideally, a good understanding of front end web development technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
